I was watching this one live. I fell asleep before the end. The Maple Leafs fell in the shark tank, 3-2.

Oilers lose another at home 3-2 to Sharks
The Oilers got down 1-0, and then Ryan Whitney scored pretty much my favorite kind of goal. A top shelf slap shot:
I went to take my puppy outside to pee. When I returned back to the living room, Taylor Hall had scored for the 26th time this season, beating Anti Niemi:

Taylor Hall's Shootout Magic Downs Sharks 2-1
I've never understood why in the game of hockey when you hit a shootout goal that wins it, you don't get credit for a goal. It leaves things feeling hollow.

Oilers become Saturday Night Shark Bait
[Cult of Hockey]
Last night, my Oil lost out in San Jose 3-2 to the Sharks.
Here was one of the few highlights. Hallsy to Ebs to even the score at one.
I'm really hung over from that aforementioned sweater party. I'm gonna go now.

Hall nets a pair in 5-2 Oilers win
14 goals and 12 assists now after a 3 point night!
And the Empty netter:
[Box Score]
Edmonton Journal has an article this morning that talks about if a new rink is built in downtown Edmonton, the Oilers must agree to stay for 30 years. Sounds like a good deal for both the organization and the city.
The Edmonton Journal's hockey blog has a recap of last night's big win.
Really looking forward to Hockey Night tomorrow night. Nothing better than NHL on a Saturday night after taking in a couple NFL playoff games. Should make for a great weekend.
